GETAWAY

last year me and some friends decided to book airasia promo to malaysia, firstly to watch super junior show for the 2011 show. but unfortunately because the so long awaited time between the booking period and the real flight time, some people have another scheduled. super important scheduled just like the outline presentation day for the final thesis a.k.a skripsi. so me, despite the super junior scheduled which actually was being fast forward to a week before my flight,and all the people suddenly cancel it, decide to still use the itinerary.

a week alone travel to kuala lumpur, malaysia. from 23rd to 29th of march!


first day,

i take x-trans mini bus bintaro to bandara, paying only RP 30.000,-. about 2 pm the plane take off. arrived at 5 something in LCC, a special airport for cheap plane and cargo. then i took bus to KL Central where i met dania. we have a chit chat and supper. after that i go to fathin's house, taking LRT paying only RM 2,6. it is fast and convenient. i like malaysian transportation system. Indonesia, you have a long waaaaay to go!!

getting picked up at setiawangsa station with the mini car, i met fathin, her sister fara and her sister fiancee, hafiz who resemble gabby's bf A LOT. i just have dinner, take shower and go to sleep.

second day,

i went to pavilion, a mall with office and bla bla which is apparently where fathin's mom do her job as a stock trader. COOOL MOM!! while waiting for her we went here and there, inside the mall.

third day, 

as fathin mom suggested, we're going to visit malaysia famous petronas twin tower in KLCC. KLCC is integrated with suria KLCC, another famous mall in KL. because we arrived too late, we can't go to the 42th level of the twin tower like other tourist did. so we just taking picture and spending rest of the time, inside the mall. i bump into dania in suria for a while and then i go to ali baba's iranian  food to meet fathin's friends. they are the typical pretty and fashionable malaysian girl. very nice and friendly :D

fourth day, 

the schedule is moving to dania's dorm, since i can't stay in fathin's for more than 3 days. i can but i won't, they are too kind! i don't want to be a burden. three days are enough :D 

time to saying goodbye for addly family but unfortunately i just can capture fatin's mom, niece and her. minus the super kind daddy, and lovely sisters. 

got dania in univesiti LRT station and directly go for lunch. after that we change and right away heading to the dorm anniversary party! woots i sneak into UM party :D

the party is likely a prom but organized in emm, not so good way. we have to waiiit loooooooong time to have the dinner and even the gap time between our arrival and starting time is soooooooo looooooong (we have to take the bus at 4 while the door is open at 7.30pm). man! i thought i would never deal with such a bad organizer again after indonesian organizer. kewl!

there i met another new friends, so much fun also ^^ . 

fifth day,

too tired from the previous day, we, me and dania spent half of our day to sleep. kekeke. i don't know why but since my arrival in malaysia, i got easily feeling sleepy nearly all the time. about 3pm we then decided to stick with our first plan, visiting some interesting place like batu caves, petaling street and central market.

batu caves is where india people go to pray, it is a cave with more than 260something stairs. because me and dania are people with height phobia so basically it was like a fear challenge in fact the place is high and the stairs are sooo narrow. easy to go up but a bit terrifying when you go down. to go to batu caves you just need  to take commuter train,paying only RM 1 from KL sentral, get off at batu caves station and that already the place. i guess malaysia will make it official as a tourist attraction so they made it easily reached by public transportation. central market is an old market, now is more likely a souvenir shopping place, where you can find stuff from melayu, china, and india organized very neat in one place. malaysia is a real something ^^

while petaling street is just street seller selling fake branded stuff and souvenirs. petaling and central market location are near to each other. 

sixth day,
because i didn't go to the mostly kuala lumpur tourist attraction place on the 5 previous days so i decided to take hop on hop off, a city tour of kuala lumpur provided by the government. with hop on hop off i can easily visit nearly all the 'happening' place in KL by taking the hop on hop off bus, paying for RM 17 valid for 24 hrs. *if we show our student card we got cheaper price, actual price is RM 38*

seventh day,
my last day and i haven't shop any thing. so i decided to go to midvalley mall because it is the nearest to dania's dorm. first we went to vincci and wow, it almost 50% from vincci jakarta price! and i went to cotton on, swatch, crocs, and other branded shop. and yes they mostly are cheaper than jakarta. no wonder girl like to go to malaysia just for shopping.
